Create a Moderated Study
This is non-negotiable! Think of a Study as the dedicated folder and analysis container for your recordings. Sondar.Ai needs to know where to file the call, what context it belongs in, and how to analyze it.
🛑 MANDATORY FIRST STEP
You cannot upload or import a recording without an active Study.
Go To: The 'Moderated Studies' section in the home screen
Click: The "Create Study" button.
Name It: Give your Study a clear, descriptive name (e.g., "Q4 Sales Calls - Product X Feedback" or "Discovery Interviews - New Feature Beta").
Start an Import: Then, go to the Study you just created and click the Import.
Recording Sources
Sondar.Ai integrates with a variety of call recording tools.
Upload from your computer: The straightforward option: upload any audio or video file already saved locally on your machine.
Google Drive / Meet: Import recordings directly from your Google Drive, including all those meeting files automatically saved from Google Meet.
Zoom (Cloud Recordings): Pull in meeting recordings that Zoom has automatically stored in its cloud for easy access and processing.
One Drive / MS Teams (Coming Soon): Grab your recordings from Microsoft's cloud storage, which includes files automatically saved from MS Teams meetings.

How will I know a session has been imported?
When the session is ready, you will receive an email notification.
How long does it take to import a session?
It depends on the size of the recording. Longer sessions take more time to import and encode. 2x the length of the session is a good rule of thumb
Is the a limit on the size of the session?
Yes, the current limit is 1GB which equates to about 90mins for most recordings.
Can I use the app while it's importing?
Yes, all imports are handled in the background. Once you see the sessions appear in the list, you can continue to use the app or close the browser tab.
